I have taught for many years in the public school sector and community college (as well as at the university level briefly), and during my career have been a special education teacher, resource, and mainstream at middle and high school. I also have had extensive experience coaching. During my career have also worked in the private sector in the restaurant industry, real estate, and in the film industry. During my evolution, I have written one book, Philosophy of a Dashboard Saint, and have been responsible for creating a couple of programs designed to assist students in developing skills necessary for happiness and success, the most current being Its My Life, a dynamic program/process that helps answer questions on the difficult but inevitable march to adulthood. My associate Brian Jaramillo and I believe this component can be very important in determining how an individual might approach his or her life. In my personal life I am married, have 2 sons, a daughter-in-law and 3 grandchildren. And I have a wide/eclectic array of interests!
